For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $348,400 in Texas for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $348,500 in May.

Limestone County had 29 new listings and 10 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 107—down 2.73% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.

Of those 107 active listings, 29.91% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Limestone County fell 16.99% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $239,900. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year. In April 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 53 days, compared to 2 days in April 2024.
