For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $524,990 in Thurston County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $534,990 in March.
Lacey had 62 new listings and 59 listings that went under contract in February, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 92—up 4.55% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in March.
Of those 92 active listings, 35.87% reduced their price in the month of February. The median listing price for homes in Lacey grew 4.02% from January to February, bringing the current median listing price to $520,000. Based on projected data for March, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
