November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $300,000—down 2.6% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $315,000 in Sweetwater County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $325,500 in December.
Green River had 9 new listings and 7 listings that went under contract in November, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 37—up 5.71% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in December.
Of those 37 active listings, 18.92% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Green River grew 30.14% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $449,000. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to grow.
