December’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $295,000—up 9.26% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $440,500 in Wyoming for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $414,700 in January.
Uinta County had 16 new listings and 10 listings that went under contract in December, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 63—down 3.08% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in January.
Of those 63 active listings, 4.76% reduced their price in the month of December. The median listing price for homes in Uinta County fell 10.58% from November to December, bringing the current median listing price to $355,000. Based on projected data for January, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year. In December 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 49 days, compared to 51 days in December 2024. However, in recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be falling. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this January.
