We had the best sales experience while selling our home during COVID 19 because of Jerry Thompson, and the way he handled the entire transaction. He came to our home for the “interview”, fully prepared not only with comps, but suggestions, history, and compassion. We like him so much, we canceled our other interviews with other agents and immediately signed with Jerry and Century 21 Gold. Jerry sat with us for hours to explain the entire process - what to expect, the timelines, and how he would market our property. He took the time to walk through every room and tell me the best way to stage it for marketability. He ensured that our home was prepared with all of the precautions necessary for people viewing our home during this challenging pandemic. And while we regularly called Jerry with questions, he responded promptly, honestly, with candor, respect and compassion. We never felt as though we were bothering him or his staff in any way. The video of our home was amazing - almost like a top notch wedding video. He made our home so marketable so that we would obtain top dollar. Our home sold within three days, and his ability to negotiate with the various agents to get us the best bid was just amazing. Jerry has been in touch with us before, during and after the close of our home. Jerry was amazing. We were buying a house to move into from Seattle, so we had limited time to find a place and limited knowledge of the area. He was available to answer our questions at any hour of the day, clearly knew the ins and outs of the process and helped us find the perfect home in quite complicated circumstances. Jerry called me after the sale to tell me that water was leaking from my new house. He went to the house to look at it before I could get there. I thought that was exceptional service because I already bought the house and he had no obligation to go there in the middle of the day. He was great.

Jerry Thompson II goes above and beyond what's expected of a typical real estate agent. We had already moved to our new house in North Carolina when we received a call at 2:00AM from our security monitoring company indicating that we had a high water alarm from our sump pump sensor. We assumed it was a false alarm because we had a backup pump in the event the primary pump failed. This happened prior our scheduled closing. I called Jerry a few hours later to check on the water level to verify the alarm. He went to check and discovered that both our primary and backup pumps failed to empty the sump and the water level was dangerously high as we had a carpeted finished basement. Jerry managed to get the primary pump to empty the sump. Unfortunately, we were having an unusually high amount of rain that day so the sump was continually filling. Since we couldn't get a plumber to address the problem until the following day, Jerry continued to periodically go to the home to manually operate the pump until the plumber arrived. He met the plumber and supervised replacement of the defective pump and adjustment of the backup pump. Jerry saved us from thousands of dollars in damages and prevented the potential loss of the sale. We couldn't have asked for a more conscientious and dedicated professional to sell our property. Jerry's the best.

Jerry and I met over summer to discuss an evaluation and discussion for the property value. He laid out a detailed sales process and followed through. When we were ready to sell we reconnected and began to execute the plan. We listed on a Thursday and by the end of the weekend we had so many showings and offers we decided to field offers and by the end of the weekend we had a deal. The process went as planned and I was very pleased with the entire sales process.
