The short version of my home sales experience and review of Kevin and Amanda is STELLAR.

Some details and context of the above follow:

I solicited three reputable and experienced realtors for comparisons, suggested sales approach (in light of the market volatility) and recommended sale price. Their approaches were relatively similar, but their “comps” and suggested sale price were significantly disparate. In my opinion, looking at the “comps”, the lowest proposed sale price was hard to justify for me. The highest was more than I anticipated and I was slightly skeptical. The middle estimate was still lower than I felt the market warranted. The range in the sale prices was $60K.

Kevin and Amanda won me over with their answers, experience in the SW Wake neighborhoods and area, straight forward and candid answers, professionalism, attention to details, responsiveness, supporting partnership with Compass and personalities. With both Kevin and Amanda growing up and living in SW Wake County, their history, connection and familiarity of the local market was reassuring and was validated with the sale results.

After setting a somewhat aggressive timeline for listing and selling, all targets were clearly communicated and met. The listing went live on Friday and we entertained 48 viewing appointments over the next three days. Six (6) offers were tendered by Sunday evening. After a few back-and-forth negotiations a contract was signed Sunday evening. The agreed upon sales price was $26K over the highest of the three (3) suggested sale prices based on “comps”.

Communication before, during and after the sale was frequent, clear and flawless. Closing was 30 days after the contract was signed. All went well and was painless and uneventful.

If you enlist the services of Kevin, Amanda and “Sold by Starkey” you will NOT regret it.
