Learn more about what Antioch has to offer.

Antioch offers residents a welcoming, family-friendly community with abundant parks and trails, a growing downtown, diverse dining and cultural events, and ample opportunities for work, learning, and entrepreneurship.

Antioch stands apart from other Delta communities with its direct shoreline access, rich history, and a growing mix of long‑time locals and new arrivals seeking value compared with nearby Brentwood and Pittsburg. The city’s identity is closely tied to the water, from weekend strolls along the Antioch Marina to fishing and picnics at Antioch/Oakley Regional Shoreline. Older neighborhoods near downtown offer classic bungalows and tree‑lined streets, while newer developments on the south side attract buyers looking for more space.

Residents appreciate everyday convenience paired with outdoor access. Families frequent Contra Loma Regional Park for hiking and lake views, and kids enjoy programs at the Antioch Water Park. Community life centers around local schools, the Antioch Unified School District, and events at the historic El Campanil Theatre downtown. Dining ranges from long‑running local favorites on 2nd Street to convenient options along Lone Tree Way.

For commuters, access to Brentwood and Oakley pairs with regional connections toward Contra Costa County. Antioch’s mix of established and developing areas means market conditions can vary block by block. Whether you are preparing your home to stand out or timing a first purchase to align with your budget and commute, working with the right local agent is key. Agent Pronto connects both buyers and sellers with Antioch professionals who understand the community and the current market.

“I am a first time homebuyer. I am a single woman that was very scared to take this leap and buy a house alone. Chris was ALWAYS available for all of my questions. I could talk to him in the evenings, mornings, and even on weekends. Whenever I wanted to see a property, Chris MADE IT HAPPEN! He took the time to walk me through complicated documents at my pace. Chris is very experienced and good at negotiations. He was able to get 2 major repairs done at the property at the Seller's expence!”

“Herbert has recently sold two properties for our family. His strong communication skills, professionalism and knowledge of the business are why we continue to use him as well as recommend him to friends and family. Herbert kept in constant communication with us throughout the entire process. Notifying us of upcoming open houses he hosted, as well as showings. He immediately shared and discussed any feedback with us. Our family had moved out of state by the time we were ready to list our home. Herbert worked closely with our contractor when last minute repairs were needed. Knowing that our house was vacant, he would often stop by to check on our house. Once our house was in escrow, Herbert sent the necessary paperwork electronically and was just a phone call (or text) away to answer any questions we had. The marketing tools Herbert utilizes are cutting edge and extremely user friendly. The use of a QR code is a phenomenal asset to his advertising.”
