July’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $1,000,000—down 26.67% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $930,000 in Los Angeles County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $920,000 in August.
View Park-Windsor Hills had 7 new listings and 20 listings that went under contract in July, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 22—down 0.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in August.
Of those 22 active listings, 50.0% reduced their price in the month of July. The median listing price for homes in View Park-Windsor Hills fell 17.76% from June to July, bringing the current median listing price to $1,250,000. Based on projected data for August, listing prices may continue to fall.
