Longboat Key had 70 new listings and 49 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 376—down 0.79% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.
Of those 376 active listings, 33.78% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Longboat Key fell 28.32% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $1,000,000. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.
