September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $595,000—up 1.28% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $490,000 in Palm Beach County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $497,500 in October.
Tequesta had 15 new listings and 17 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 73—down 2.67% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
Of those 73 active listings, 26.03% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Tequesta grew 28.79% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $895,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
