Marion had 73 new listings and 57 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 130—up 9.24% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
Of those 130 active listings, 28.46% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Marion grew 16.07% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $325,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
