I was a first time home seller and didn’t like the thought of paying 6% RE commission so I did some research online and found Rex Homes which requires only the sellers side of commission at 2.5%. Cindee Levy was the Relationship Manager assigned to me for the sale of my home. Cindee met with me, toured my house and lot (1.25 acres), asked what I thought my home would sell for and explained the whole process of selling my home. She provided documentation on the range of recent local home sales, sellers estimated expense sheet, résumé of her real estate career, how she does not work for commission, how Rex Home Sales works and the vast listings Rex uses to advertise the sale of homes. She discussed the sale price with me and provided suggestions for me to get ready for showings to include renting a POD temporarily for the things that were not able to be placed out of site. Time started flying by once the property was listed and I contacted Cindee numerous times when I had questions and this was all during Thanksgiving holiday. Cindee was available and pretty much immediately responsive even when she was on her vacation. The few times she was not available, two other team members (Deb and Tarsis) responded or made contact with me. I know it’s a sellers market right now but my home sold after one afternoon of four showings. Cindee and her team stayed in constant contact with me dealing with the inspection, survey, appraisal, etc. All of this may seem routine but it is not for a first time home seller and I’m so thankful for Cindee and her teams assistance and guidance throughout this whole process.
