December’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $132,500—up 76.67% over the previous 12 months. Terre Haute had 42 new listings and 44 listings that went under contract in December, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 139—down 13.66% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in January.

The median listing price for homes in Terre Haute grew 10.38% from November to December, bringing the current median listing price to $159,450. Based on projected data for January, listing prices may continue to grow.
