Learn more about what Danvers has to offer.

Danvers offers residents a welcoming, family-friendly community with strong schools, abundant parks and outdoor space, and convenient access to shopping, services, and regional attractions.

Danvers offers a quieter, close-knit alternative to nearby Salem and Peabody while still keeping you near major employers and coastal towns on the North Shore. The town’s identity is rooted in its historic village centers, tree-lined neighborhoods, and community traditions that make it feel smaller than it is.

Residents spend weekends along the Danvers Rail Trail or at Endicott Park, where fields, walking paths, and educational programs draw families year-round. Everyday needs are covered by local plazas along Route 114 and Route 1, while nearby Beverly and Lynn expand options for beaches, arts, and dining. Family life revolves around town sports, neighborhood playgrounds, and the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers, a hub for events, study space, and remote workers.

Danvers schools, including Danvers High School, attract many buyers who want strong programs without a long commute into Boston. Proximity to I‑95 and Route 128 also appeals to professionals coming from Boston or Cambridge who want more space and a community feel.

With inventory and pricing shifting across the North Shore, timing and preparation are critical. Whether you are weighing a move into Danvers or planning to sell and move on, connecting with the right local real estate agent through Agent Pronto can help you navigate the market, price or bid strategically, and be ready when the right opportunity appears.

“As first-time home buyers navigating a competitive market, we truly could not have purchased the home we wanted without Jill Fitzpatrick. Jill was incredibly helpful and responsive from day one, really listening to our needs and wants and then tailoring experienced advice and next steps accordingly. We were able to put in a winning offer which included a quick closing timeline only with the help of Jill guiding us through each step of the process. We can't recommend Jill enough!”

“While I was looking for my condo, I had several criteria in mind: something below market budget, close to the city, with the right number of bedrooms and a good layout. At the time, the market was ridiculous. I felt grateful and reassured to have Eric as my real estate agent because he was very patient, knowledgeable about the process, responsive, and accessible. I never felt pressured by him to purchase something that wasn’t right for me. Overall, I have him to thank for the condo I have today. I truly enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend him to my friends and family.”

“Craig Celli was terrific from the very start and through to the very end of the transaction. When he came to view the property for the first time, he demonstrated knowledge, experience, and was friendly and communicative. I knew right after our meeting that he was the broker I would choose to market and sell the property. He also was very hands-on in preparing the home for sale - he worked on things himself and he personally knew and introduced me to a number of people who assisted in the work associated with preparing the home for sale (cleaners, electricians, etc.). All of the people he referred worked out perfectly. I was selling this property as a fiduciary so was not located in the area - Craig took on the responsibility of being my "boots on the ground" throughout the marketing and pre-sale. In short, I could not have asked for a better professional to market and sell this property. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation.”

“November, 2025 We had a very positive experience working with Kathy Tully. From start to finish, she was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us achieve our goals. Her understanding of the local market was helpful, and she provided clear guidance at every step of the process. What stood out most was her professionalism and communication. She answered every question promptly, explained each part of the transaction in a way that was easy to understand, and always made us feel like a priority. Whether it was scheduling showings, handling negotiations, or coordinating details behind the scenes, Kathy went above and beyond to make the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We are pleased with the results and highly recommend Kathy to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Ken & Suzanne Malach”

“Great real estate experience with Charlotte. I recently had the pleasure of working with Charlotte as my realtor, and I cannot express how grateful I am for her outstanding service throughout the entire home buying process. From our initial meeting to the closing day, Charlotte demonstrated a level of professionalism, expertise, and dedication that greatly met my expectations. One of Charlotte's standout qualities is her extensive knowledge of the local real estate market. “I can't thank John Dean enough for handing the sale of my home. John's knowledge of the industry and the area was exceptional. He kept me informed of all the issues and guided me with decisions that had to be made. He offered to make several trips to the house to meet and coordinate the inspections and other people that assisted me with the move. Not being available to make it to the property for various reasons being the distance and caring for a disabled husband, John saved me from having to be there. John was there to manage everything for me. If you need a professional agent, look no further than John Dean.”

“He was honest enough to direct us away from one of the homes that we looked at because of the horrible basement there. He also showed us at least 5+ homes before we settled on the one we're living in now.”

“Chris Cassidy comes across as a very honest, and approachable person. Chris was involve in selling a 2 family for me , which was caught up in the Columbia Gas crisis which occurred shortly after he listed it. The Columbia gas problem affect homes in a huge area. The property for a few months was essential not able to be sold because of the Columbia Gas issue. During this time Chris did his best to show, and the sell the property. Eventual after Columbia Gas finally fixed all the gas lines that were affected Chris was then able to find the buyer for this property. Took months, but Chris never gave up, or showed any disinterest. I plan to work with him in the near future.”

“I was recommended by a friend to call Kerry Lapiana with Prestige Homes. I am so glad I did. Kerry went up and beyond from the beginning until the end. She was always available with any questions I had and she made the offer process so easy. It didn't end there. She even took time after I closed to ask me how it was going if I needed anything additional. She went up and beyond every step of the way. I would highly recommend Kerry Lapiana and Prestige Homes to friends, family and colleagues.”
