For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $380,000 in Berkshire County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $382,500 in November.
Lenox had 4 new listings and 2 listings that went under contract in October, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 13—up 8.33% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in November.
Of those 13 active listings, 7.69% reduced their price in the month of October. The median listing price for homes in Lenox fell 44.98% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $712,500. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell sharply year-over-year.
