For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $454,000 in Salem for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $451,810 in November.
Lansing had 4 new listings and 7 listings that went under contract in October, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 6—down 25.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in November.
The median listing price for homes in Lansing grew 19.47% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $405,000. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year.
