For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $348,400 in Texas for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $348,500 in May.

Crosby County had 3 new listings and 3 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 16—down 5.88% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.

Of those 16 active listings, 25.0% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Crosby County grew 82.86% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $160,000. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to grow.
