My name is Charles DeMatteo, but please call me Charlie. I grew up and lived most of my life in the suburbs of New York City. I spent 20 years as a member of the City of Yonkers Police Department, where I retired with the rank of Detective Sergeant. Upon my retirement, my wife and I decided to relocate to the beautiful Grand Strand community.

Moving into a new home and a new hometown inspired me to start a new career. Having an interest in real estate and a passion for helping others, becoming a Realtor at Century 21 Broadhurst was a perfect fit for me.
