Mike became a Realtor in 2006 and a broker in 2016. His family spans more than 6 generations in the Jonesborough, Gray, & Sulphur Springs area. Mike is a graduate of Daniel Boone High School, Northeast State Community College, Belle Meadows Baptist College & D&D School of Real Estate.

In 2007, Mike received the Rookie of the Year Award for high sales and quality service. Formally a Century 21 agent, Mike has received various other awards including Gold, Platinum, Ruby, Emerald, & Quality Service Awards. He holds the designation of Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE).
