Mike Long was the consumate professional when handling our home purchase in Geneva. He paid attention to everything we said, focused our search based on the input he received from us, and showed us so many homes that met our criteria that it was very hard to finally choose!

When we did decide on a house, and we had some difficulty with the property, Mike Long was right there to help guide us through the muddy waters, give us the proper advice, and ultimately get us quickly into the house we eventually purchased when we had to cancel our original choice.

To anyone that is looking to buy or sell a home, I would highly recommend Mike Long. He assisted my wife and me with the purchase of our first home in Naperville. Working with Mike was a truly great experience for numerous reasons.

First off, he is an exceptional, experienced realtor that provides insightful guidance in order to assist you in making your own informed decision. Mike has spent his entire life in the western suburbs and has a wealth of local area knowledge that he uses to point you in the area and type of home that is right for you. As you look at homes, it can be difficult to differentiate between them. In looking at various homes with Mike, I was able to openly state what I liked about a home as well as get his thoughts (both positive and negative) on certain properties in comparison to others based on his experience. This was extremely helpful as my wife and I narrowed down areas and specific properties to consider and ultimately agree on our new home!

Secondly, Mike is always available and accessible. He picked up the phone anytime that I called with a question or wanted to setup time to see homes. He was available to talk or meet at our convenience throughout the entire home buying process. There is no doubt that he is committed to his clients. This committment doesn't end when the deal has closed. If you need anything after the fact whether it be a roofer or a plumber or any other recommendation, he is just a phone call away and can provide you not only with credible recommendations but its the same people that he uses on his own home!

Lastly, Mike was instrumental in getting my wife and me a reasonable and fair price on our home. He worked diligently in researching comps in the area and communicating/negotiating with the seller's agent. Both of which allowed us to get our home for the right price.

When deciding to purchase a home we wanted to find a realtor that had good knowledge of the suburbs we were looking in as we were coming from the city. A friend of my husbands recommended Mike Long to us. Mike was great to work with from begining to end. He was extremely patient in showing us homes in multiple suburbs to determine which area we liked best and also in handling the process of newly weds buying their first home together and determining the different priorities of each of us. While we were looking at the design of the home Mike took his time to look at the structure of each home to ensure each home was of good quality which is what made us truly trust him and his opinion of the homes. I believe the trust we got from Mike during the looking process is what helped us negotiate a great price on the home we found. We trusted Mike to advise us during the negotiating process to ensure we made strong enough offers for consideration but also got a good price for the home.

I would high recommend Mike as he is not only great at what he does but he was a pleasure and fun to work with. Home buying can sometimes be a stressful process but Mike made our first home buying experience enjoyable!

Mike Long is very unique in his field. We have worked with many agents on both the buying and selling side and there is no question that Mike stands above all others. The level of service he gave was impeccable. He provided very good opinions and feedback with many of the houses we saw. He gave very good advice as to which areas we would have more success in finding what we were looking for. He also gave very valuable commuter information which was important to us in selecting an area. He is the first agent we have dealt with that truly cared about our needs being met and not about just making a sale. He was honest and truthful every step of the way. Would HIGHLY recommend him.
