After listing our property with another agency that never had the time to give us updates or bother responding to us we switched to Century 21 and Scott Furtney. We were happy when our property was sold not long after and we were very satisfied with the sale. Scott and his team handled everything. It was a pleasure every time we were in contact with Scott and Rhonda, they were always so genuine and friendly. They never made us feel like we weren't important enough to take time for because our property wasn't going to bring in ten's or hundred's of thousands of dollars in commissions for them. These are good folks and they go the extra mile.

Scott Furtney was a joy to work with. He and his wife are an excellent team who make solid recommendations and try to set you up with the best house that meets one's desires at the best price for the buyer. Scott is personal and will be straight forward with any property, making known the pros and cons.

Also, it was easy to communicate with and to sync our schedules even with a 3-hour difference since I lived in California and had to do everything by video chat and email communication. our house was rental we had previously lived in. in fact, it was our first house purchase and we originally found Scott through Dave Ramsey's endorsed local providers recommendation service. He (Scott) helped us buy the house in 2009. In 2014, we moved and converted it into a rental, and used Century 21's property management service. In 2022 we decided the time was right to sell it, and initally decided to use an agent from out of the area based on a recommendation from a relative in the business and some misguided sense of kindheartedness. She came up from Wilmington and told us we needed to make some fixes and that was about it. Things stalled for a while and then we decided that kind heartedness wasn't in it and we needed a local go-getter and called Scott. He literally jumped in with both feet and got the ball rolling. Renters moved out, and he moved in and started contacting contractors, inspecting, getting the contractors in there and working before we even paid them, helping with purchases from local suppliers if time was a big issue and I couldn't get payment there for a couple of days. All in all, our long-distance sale was almost uneventful for our part (we live in GA now). All I did was answer a few calls from Scott to provide instructions, keep an eye on my email, look at some pictures and pick out flooring and paint colors...we paid some money to do some much-needed improvements and fixes, and then when it was on the market it was under contract within three or four days, max. We closed at the end of that month. Would use Scott again in a heartbeat.
