I flew in to Portland from Florida with a pre-selection of houses that I wanted to tour. I told Shane about
my first selections, and we toured those first. Shane also did his own research based on my requirements, which I came to understand were very specific and niche for the Portland market. His additional suggestions were on point and helpful in my search.

In addition to his extra research, he made himself completely available to me during my whirlwind 2-day trip. During those two days he
drove me around to all the houses we toured, as well as o?ering genuinely helpful and
interesting information about Portland and its neighborhoods while we went to and from. Shane’s banter was both
helpful and fun. It was nice to look out the window while Shane drove me around explaining the layout of the streets.

An underrated addition were the provisions from his o?ce which sustained our search.

When I decided on a house at the end of my trip he wrote the contract that same night even though it was late, so I could fly out the next day, knowing my offer was in.

Shane made the contract logistics smooth from a distance, by booking and supervising financing and inspections. He made my life easy from
across the country. It would have been di?cult (perhaps impossible) to get all that done on my own.
