Tom worked in corporate America for nearly 15 years, starting in the transportation industry and ending in the technology consulting field. His career eventually led him to Canton, Georgia, where he and his family have resided since 1999. With a growing family, Tom decided to leave his corporate career shortly after September 11, 2001, to pursue what had become a hobby — buying and selling homes — as a full-time career. This shift allowed him to focus on what truly matters to him: family and serving his local community. Tom quickly decided to expand his skills by becoming a Real Estate Appraiser and Home Inspector. After years of schooling, he obtained his Real Estate License and Certified General Real Estate Appraisal License, the state’s highest certification. Over the past several years, Townsend Realty Group has grown into one of the most respected Real Estate Companies in our market area.
