For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $296,000 in Polk County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $300,630 in October.

Pleasant Hill had 16 new listings and 8 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 44—up 2.33% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.

Of those 44 active listings, 50.0% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Pleasant Hill grew 1.76% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $312,400. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
