Staten Island had 451 new listings and 387 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 1,247—up 1.14% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
Of those 1,247 active listings, 19.49% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Staten Island grew 3.1% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $799,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year. In September 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 44 days, compared to 47 days in September 2024.
