For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $269,900 in Andrews County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $251,100 in May.

Andrews had 20 new listings and 17 listings that went under contract in April, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 30—up 11.11% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in May.

Of those 30 active listings, 23.33% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Andrews fell 22.58% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $240,000. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year.
