DeSoto had 55 new listings and 64 listings that went under contract in June, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 181—down 9.5% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in July.
Of those 181 active listings, 42.54% reduced their price in the month of June. The median listing price for homes in DeSoto grew 5.2% from May to June, bringing the current median listing price to $380,000. Based on projected data for July, listing prices may continue to grow.
