The typical home value is up dramatically year over year, rising about 137 percent, while the median list price has climbed by roughly 91 percent. Homes sold increased more than 38 percent over the same period, even as active listings slipped about 12 percent.

At the same time, 47 percent of homes went off the market within two weeks, so the most appealing properties still move quickly.
