I was born and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, and still carry a bit of New Englander in me. However, after 28 years in Maryland, I now prefer crabs over lobsters and consider myself a Marylander! I raised my children in Montgomery County, and once they went off to college, I made the move to Annapolis to be closer to the water and all the special things the Chesapeake Bay area has to offer, both by car and by boat!

Professionally, I was in the education field for over 30 years. I truly enjoyed helping students of all ages reach their potential. In early 2022, I decided to take my passion for helping children and turn it towards helping their families find homes for them to be raised in!
