Inverness had 21 new listings and 29 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 88—down 10.2% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
Of those 88 active listings, 48.86% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Inverness fell 22.8% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $220,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
