For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $319,900 in Hoke County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $327,350 in December.

Rockfish had 7 new listings and 8 listings that went under contract in November, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 16—down 11.11% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in December.

Of those 16 active listings, 43.75% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Rockfish grew 15.48% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $358,000. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to grow.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year.
