September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $1,135,000—down 34.2% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $463,000 in Davidson County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $449,970 in October.
Oak Hill had 15 new listings and 15 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 35—up 2.94% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
Of those 35 active listings, 37.14% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Oak Hill grew 53.47% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $3,100,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
