This was my first time buying a home. My mother and I, had been living in a rental home that my late father found, back in 2013. Recently, the landlord decided to sell the home. Unfortunately, my mother and I would have to move immediately, and find another place to live. Having to move my 89 years old mother, and my self, immediately would have been disastrous. A family member, said sheād heard of a good realtor and I called Dwayne on a Thursday evening, told him what I was looking for and how much I wanted to pay and that I had just missed getting an offer in on this particular duplex that I really wanted to purchase. Dwayne, listened and investigated the duplex I was originally looking at buying and amazingly found a near identical property, which was, better, larger, and in my neighborhood. I was not looking to buy at this time so I had not done any research or preparation. I happened to see a home in an area I liked and that fit my budget and needs. My loan officer referred me to Dwayne and Felicia Brown.
I contacted them around 2:00 and they met me at the property at 6:00 p.m. The offer was due the next day and accepted the following afternoon. Dwayne did the research and wrote an offer that was accepted.
Since I had not done any research into buying a home Dwayne walked me through the process and educated me along the way since he has over 17 years experience as a realtor.
