Ellen Marcum

Licensed as a real estate agent since 2018, I have been in the Charlotte area for over 30 years and love helping people with real estate! My career prior to real estate was in accounting, banking, and construction. This broad experience is instrumental in handling the many moving parts that occur in common real estate transactions. My accounting background helps in analyzing data, estimating values and proceeds, even while factoring in additional budgetary items such as repairs, staging, cost of vacancy, and more. I have a strong understanding of construction terminology, scheduling, and practical applications. Continuing education is a requirement for all agents in North Carolina, but I strive to stay ahead of the curve. I hold additional specialty designations and have completed my Broker’s License Course Studies for North Carolina and South Carolina. I believe in being a strong resource for my clients through education and as a referral partner.
