When buying or selling, it helps to have a calm and cool agent by your side through the process. you know, because there just might be a 'little' stress involved from all the excitement of packing and purging or maybe you're pretty cool and don't need any stress from anyone else during this time. either way, Simon: he's cool, he's calm, he's professional - a pleasure to work with. Simon and David - "the rabbit team" represented the sale of my home. the marketing was top notch from aerial/walk-through videos and having digital presence which was important to me when deciding on representation for my home.

It was my first home sale and i had so many questions. Simon didn't mind all of my questions and took the time to go into the details with me. we received offers after the first weekend of open house. home was priced competitively and sold quickly.

My wife and I recently bought a house in Lafayette with Simon Watson's assistance. I liked working with Simon because he was always available via phone, text, or email for anything we needed. On short notice, he could meet me during the day to check out one house quickly or spend the whole day looking at multiple listings.

When we visited a house, he did a great job of being there to answer questions but also giving us time and space to explore the house. He used his experience to point out aspects of the house that we may have missed. If we saw a house we liked, he emailed us comps the same day. This was critical to putting together offers in a competitive market.

Mr. Simon Watson should be Saint Simon for his patience in helping us find, negotiate and close on a house we bought in Oakland during Spring, 2013. It was a fixer in a short sale that involved two mortgage holders. Communications and negotiations had to include all the parties who had to agree on each step.

There were multiple inspections as well and each required scheduling among the same large group. When the inspections found a significant issue, Simon helped us resolve it satisfactorily. Somehow Simon kept everything together while counseling us on strategy to keep our bid on top.

i first wrote a review for david and simon back in 2015 when my wife and i purchased our home in concord. it was our first buying experience and we couldn't have asked for better guides through the process. so, when it came time to sell this summer, there wasn't any question that we would recruit them for another important "first".

to paint the picture, our 2nd daughter had just been born and we had decided to relocate on a very short timeline, so needless to say we were embarking on what would be probably one of the most stressful stretches of our lives. just as they had done previously with the buying process, they made the process as smooth as it could be. david was responsive to our questions and made sure that we understood the ins and outs of the selling process. simon was always there for inspections and we never had to worry whether something would get done or not. they always made time in their busy schedules to work around whatever we had going on, whether that was a sleeping toddler or.....a toddler who wouldn't sleep.

as if it weren't enough that they met our needs, they did so despite some challenging "obstacles", namely the buyer's agent who pulled some things that were questionable at best (please read additional review: yelp.com/writeareview/bi…). david in particular had to deal with some pretty appalling behavior, to be honest, and he did so with composure and patience, which was much appreciated during this chaotic time for us. just as an example, he had to navigate a situation where our buyers (i can only imagine at the suggestion of their agent) were holding a $5k deposit hostage over a garage door opener, a lack of understanding as to how a nest thermostat works (which we left for them), and a fabricated "kitchen leak" that was "discovered" 5 days after they had moved in. anyway, all that is to say that david went the extra mile to deal with that, and much, much more, to make this experience as easy as possible for us.

if you are looking to buy or sell in the east bay, i would recommend david and simon to anyone and everyone. you know you're getting quality and you can rest easy knowing you have a team that has the knowledge and drive to get things done. thank you david and simon!

My wife and i recently bought a home in pleasant hill with simon's help. i can't say enough about how lucky we were to have had simon on our side! he is incredibly responsive, has a deep knowledge of the market, and an expert eye for assessing homes (partly from his former life as a home inspector)! he would see things in homes that we hadn't, and would point them out for us to consider so we had full information - even though it often meant we weren't going to buy the house! he is an honest broker who puts his clients interests first! for our purchase we had an especially challenging seller who made the process a difficult roller coaster ride. simons help navigating through it was invaluable! i highly recommend simon to everyone. you won't be disappointed!

Simon is fantastic! He is straight forward, honest and listens to your needs. I'm an aerospace/mechanical engineer so it was great to see how much he knew about the overall integrity of a house. He pointed out things I would have never thought of so his mission was for us to not just land a beautiful home but a safe one and one that would not be a headache later on. Communication wise he was on it every single time. I for one am a spreadsheet, google calendar, organize geek so being able to work with someone so responsive, organized and professional made all the house hunting, paperwork and negotiations seem like a walk in the park. Another thing is that my wife and I brought our 2 toddlers with us each time we went to see houses and he was great with them and even pointed out things that would benefit them in the house or be a danger risk to them.
