Shasta County is currently tilted toward sellers, with a market gauge reading in seller’s market territory. Homes are spending a median of just 21 days on the market, down sharply from earlier in the year. At the same time, months of supply sits at 3.4, suggesting inventory is not especially deep.

Prices are fairly steady, with the typical home value around the high $370,000s and slightly lower than a year ago. Listing activity has picked up, as active listings are up modestly from last month and new listings have inched higher year over year.
