Year over year in Tallahassee, prices have moved up while activity has cooled. The typical home value in the latest rolling three-month period is about 5 percent higher than a year ago, even as homes sold are down more than 18 percent. Inventory has inched slightly lower than last year, yet months of supply has roughly doubled, signaling a looser balance between buyers and sellers.
