For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $371,000 in Brunswick County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $364,000 in October.
Calabash had 6 new listings and 10 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 36—down 18.18% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
Of those 36 active listings, 33.33% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Calabash fell 0.99% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $306,270. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year.
