The typical home value in Myrtle Grove is projected to be $541,000 for the month of December. November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $518,000—down 10.34% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $485,000 in New Hanover County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $497,500 in December.

Myrtle Grove had 22 new listings and 15 listings that went under contract in November, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 58—up 20.83% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in December.

Of those 58 active listings, 29.31% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Myrtle Grove grew 8.54% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $612,450. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to grow.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year. In November 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 18 days, compared to 14 days in November 2024. However, in recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be rising. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this December.
