Prices have eased from a year ago even as activity picked up, with the typical home value down about 6 percent year over year while median list prices fell roughly 14 percent. At the same time, new listings nearly doubled and homes sold increased by close to 69 percent compared with a year earlier, signaling more transactions at slightly lower price points.
