Our experience with Kaleo Ahina was disappointing. Communication was consistently difficult, and we often felt we were given misguided advice throughout the process. When we asked questions or challenged decisions, the responses could be defensive and unprofessional. Most importantly, we did not feel that our interests as sellers were consistently represented or prioritized. I would not recommend Kaleo, and will not work with him again given the choice.

Kaleo is incredibly responsive and supportive. He is excellent at finding homes that directly relate to my needs and wants. He is very knowledgeable about all homes on the market, especially those that I show interest in. As well as being a home-owner and DIYer himself, he is able to pick up on structural issues of concern and brainstorm estimated costs for getting the issue fixed or how fixable it would be on your own. I tend to be a bit timid, being a first time home buyer myself, but he is able to simultaneously convey the urgency of acting in a challenging housing market, as well as enact patience for finding the right home that fits my needs.

I am looking at putting my house up for sale and moving to the mainland in about a year, and I had received some promotional material from Mr. Ahina. I called and I was very impressed by his phone presence and his courtesy. He came to look at my property and I have a good feeling that he will be able to find the right buyer for my home. that is very important to me, and I am sure he will find a family or young couple that will appreciate the home and will want to be part of our neighborhood. Very nice young man, I'm glad I found him.
