Prior to real estate, Umber taught English as a foreign language, researched and wrote grants, and ran a small business. Her curiosity and interest in different cultures took her to 32 countries in 5 continents and Oceania. In the process she learned conversational Spanish, Hindi, Urdu & Japanese.
