Rockland County home values are up notably from last year, with the typical home value climbing nearly 11 percent. Closed sales also increased year over year, rising more than 6 percent, while pending sales jumped over 21 percent. In June 2026, the typical home value in Rockland County was about $793,000, above the New York state median of roughly $553,000. Homes spent a median of 28 days on the market, much longer than a year ago but only slightly higher than in recent months, suggesting buyers have a bit more time to decide.
Supply conditions show a mixed picture, with months of supply at 3.2, below the statewide 3.8 months yet higher than last year locally. At the same time, active listings grew nearly 9 percent from May, and closed sales surged about 47 percent month over month as the spring market hit its stride.
