November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $291,000—up 15.25% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $275,000 in Rowan County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $260,000 in December.
Landis had 22 active listings in November, including 5 new listings. Overall, active listings were up 15.79% from the previous month.
Of those 22 active listings, 22.73% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Landis fell 2.18% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $310,000. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year. In November 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 44 days, compared to 31 days in November 2024.
