September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $635,000—up 2.79% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $450,000 in Mecklenburg County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $446,000 in October.
Huntersville had 343 active listings in September, including 134 new listings. Overall, active listings were down 5.51% from the previous month.
Of those 343 active listings, 34.11% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Huntersville fell 3.77% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $576,830. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year. In September 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 55 days, compared to 66 days in September 2024.
