About Carlisa Thompson

I became licensed in 2005 and have since worked as a realtor in several states. I am happy to now serve buyers and sellers throughout the DMV area. As a former active duty spouse, I enjoy working with military families. I fully understand the urgency and pitfalls of home shopping during a PCS. I am also very familiar with the VA loan process.

Having a background and experience in corporate finance, I am able to utilize my skills and knowledge to help clients sell and buy their homes. As Social Media and other types of technology become the norm in the real estate industry, I am committed to learning and applying the latest tools to best serve the needs of my clients.

Originally from the Bahamas, I grew up in South Florida. I received my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. After a few years in corporate finance, I decided to pursue a career in real estate.
