My career in real estate began in 2004. I started listing bank-owned properties (REO) full time in 2005, in the Baltimore/DC Metro area. Over the years, I have worked with buyers and sellers in the traditional retail markets and I stay current on all real estate trends for retail and distressed properties.

I am the Broker/Owner of McCarthy & Associates, doing business as Metro DMV Realty. I am licensed in DC, MD, and VA, with a home office in Reston, VA, and main office in Fredericksburg, VA.

I am a short sales and foreclosure resource. The National Association of Realtors® offers the SFR® certification to Realtors® who want to help both buyers and sellers navigate these complicated transactions, as demand for professional expertise with distressed sales grows.
