Milaina West

Milaina was our state agent in our recent home search. Being ourselves tight on time and new to the Seattle area, Milaina's help was really valuable to us. She was extremely efficient and maintained a constant, fluid and clear communication with us at each stage. She knows well both the housing market and the financial aspect. She understood our housing needs and adapted to them, and at the same time managed our expectations, helped us expand our options and filled some of our knowledge gaps. I can't imagine how such a complicated process as home searching could be eased further, we found our home and enjoyed the process.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Milaina West. I have bought six houses with realtors over my lifetime, and working with Milaina was by far the best experience. I started looking for a place nearer my children in 2019 before the pandemic started. Over the next the next few years, as my life circumstances and wants in a home changed, I must have looked at 100 places with Milaina. I am very picky, but she never gave up on me. She is incredibly responsive, patient, and generous with her time. She is also very hard-working, competent, knowledgeable about real estate, and insightful about what her clients need. We love Melaina!! We were first time home buyers, and Melaina and Alexis were the perfect match! Form our first meeting, it was clear that this day was organized, thorough, connected with all the right people, which opened up our buying opportunities big time. We ended up using our buying power, with Melaina’s guidance, to buy a bigger home than we expected, checking ALL of our boxes, but needed some work. Melaina was able to broker the deal (which was tricky!) masterfully, saving us money on our end, and allowed us to make the desired updates we wanted. She is well connected in the contracting world, and has helped us find all of the contractors needed for our project. We’re underway now, and she has continued to check in on us and help with logistics! We were randomly linked to her through Zillow, and we continue to remark on what a godsend that was!
