I'm an out of state relocation and Katherine kept me up to date on the houses available when I was planning my house hunting trip up to Chicagoland. The Monday I was supposed to fly out she reached out and told me the 4 properties that I was interested in went under contract that weekend - so I was able to postpone my flight. After that we did an online video tour of the house in which I was interested while I was still in ATL and I put an offer on it. She was very clear around the fact that the house would need painted, and new carpet and fans, etc. Closing had a hiccup - I accidently locked both of us out of the property while she was checking the mailbox key - but she creatively found a way to get me to the closing office while she waited for other realtor to bring the spare key and let her in to get my phone (and drivers license) and her purse/car keys, etc. and then meet me at the closing office. We ended up being able to close on December 29th. Katherine is a gem.

Kathy really made this process so smooth for us. She found our home out of budget, but gave us information that lead us to win and under bid asking price! Even though, we were buying in a very scarce market. If she didn't do the additional research, we wouldn't have found our beautiful home because it was slightly passed our maximum budget and we were able to bid on the home and capture it 20k under original asking price. She mentioned to write a letter which was a huge turning point for us to capture the home.

We had to purchase a home remotely, which may be very uncommon. We were 1000 miles away scheduled and did virtual tours. Kathy was very honest on everything she noticed and gave us the honest feedback we needed to hear!

Our previous realtor was a friend of mine who pushed us out of our ideas. She was available, but too opinionated. Her guidance was set on her ideas and expectations and not OUR expectations. Also, she didn't send us house references. We had to do searching online all on our own.
